So who is Asi Cohen
Asi Cohen’s journey is unlike any other. He was only 4 years old when he fell in love with balloons. From then, he vowed that he would one day try to learn how to create balloon decorations of different sizes and shapes and reach for the sky.
His first opportunity to create balloon decor professionally came in 2000. At first, he didn’t have enough skills to offer a lot of options. He just did whatever he could. He hated the question that started with “but can you do this…” and quickly realized the importance of being able to create ANY design that fits the theme.
Understanding the importance of skills made him diligently study videotapes and DVDs and be mentored by famous balloon artists from all over the world.
Asi attended international balloon conferences and participated in setting up huge balloon projects. He was one of the 60 balloon artists from different parts of the world to create a sculpture that contained over 150,000 balloons, in one of Guido Verhof’s projects.
